
| Many of you already know my Mom/Granny (Mary Wilkinson) passed away on June 27, 2008 and 15 days later, My Dad/Gramps(Arthur Wilkinson) died on July 12, 2008 Mary from N.C. School for Deaf in 1940’s Arthur from PSD in 1940’s We are adjusting to life without them. We know they are in better place but our hearts does hurt because they have been big part of our lives for so long. You are in IAD's Prayer |

Sympathy to Bartee’s Family Clyde Veron Bartee Jr., of Ranson, WV WENT TO LORD'S HOME ON Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Mr. Bartee was the devoted husband of Bonnie A. Bartee. He leaves behind his brothers, Jay D. Bartee of Hedgesville WV, Ed Bartee of Mary Ester, Fla.; and a sister, Reba Ohler of Ranson,WV. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Bartee; father, Clyde V. Bartee Sr.; his mother, Bertha B. Bartee; a brother, Eval D. Bartee; and a sister, Neula Covey. Born in Forest City, N.C., Mr. Bartee graduated from the Maryland State School for the Deaf, where he learned to overcome and conquer his disability. While attending, Clyde excelled as a member of the track, soccer and basketball teams. He worked as a residential painter for 44 years before his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed working on older cars, having a special fondness for Volkswagen Beetles. Mr. Bartee had a special fondness for helping others, always putting everyone else before himself. He was a 30-year member of the Frederick Moose Lodge, and was active in many deaf organizations including the National Association of the Deaf. He will be greatly missed by his beloved Cocker Spaniel, Taffy. Memorial contributions will be accepted on behalf of the Bartee family by the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home. |
